Dr. Dia Da Costa,
Dr. Dia Da Costa is Associate Professor at Queen’s University, Canada. She is the author of Development Dramas: Reimagining Rural Political Action in Eastern India (2009). Her articles appear in several journals such as Antipode: A Radical Journal of Geography, Cultural Studies, Journal of Peasant Studies. She is currently completing her second book entitled A Hunger called Theatre: Affect, Art and Activism in India which addresses the politics of creative economy discourse and activist performance in India.
